Drawing on assessment methods employed in educational psychology, this paper attempts to evaluate the quality of teaching Design I Workshop. In this course, students of architecture are required to arrive at a synthesis of previous workshops in one comprehensive project. Based on the adopted curriculum and interviews with professors of architecture, the educational process goals were determined to be cognition, synthesis and presentation. The behavioral objectives were further defined under three main categories: cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The evaluation type was then defined for each type of objective. Thus, a detailed model of evaluation is formed for assessment of this course.
