This paper reviews the metaphysical background of elements employed in the Islamic Garden such as trees and water. Then the philosophical connotations of these elements are explained reference to the Ar- Rahman sura of the Holy Koran. In light of the same sura, a paradisiacal garden is described as an unlimited idyll and secures space, with diverse trees planted in specific locations, accessed to through eight gates. The believers in green attire enjoy this garden while leaning against cushions under vast tents. All these descriptions also include philosophical connotations.
