The Sassanid dynasty expanded trade routes between cities and villages to promote commerce as a key source of revenues. There is little study on the Sassanid routes, however. This paper presents an study of main routes which linked two Sassanid capitals in Fars Province. The study includes both a literature and field survey. It is demonstrated that Ardehshir-khoreh City was linked to Sarvestan area through a route of about 160 kilometers passing through five stations. Although Islamic geographers do not mention such a route, they refer to buoyant places, which are all on this route. There are some 75 monuments around this route including 25 archaeological hills, 11 sites, 5 chahar-taq (square buildings), 2 imamzadehs, sepulcher
