A short and explict comparison of Islamic arts shows that the creation of artistic works are generally based upon similar traditional methods. As literature and poetry are based upon prose" and musical melodies are created by" harmonies" ; fine arts are created through the practice of different patterns just as lattice works have acquiered a tipical geometric design Therefore it is not highly improbable to notice a certain method in the process of the design of Islamic architecture .The aim of this article, which has been based upon the thesis of the author , is an examination of the different methods practiced in the Islamic architectural design and a search for the recognition of a style , which through the presented evidence has been based upon geometrical patterns
