Today the making of Architecture in congruence withclimatical conditions has become convenient due to the general standards in practice. Therefore decision making in the process of site selection , landscape design and building orientation , not forgetting the design of the volume and the outer surface of the building , has become an easy task.It must be noted, however, that such standards could never be acheived with out information regarding the cold and hot periods of the location.The present article which consists of a time-table of the hot hours of the day in need of shade and cold hours which require sunshine , in 43 different cities of Iran , has been based upon the results of a research programme submitted to the Shahid Beheshti University
