In the process of designing a building , the architect , in his mind , lifts thousands of tons of building material of the ground and into the air and then by designing special "Internal force channels " transfers it's weight back to the ground . As this task has to be undertaken several times and also with considerable speed before the architect achieves his desired goal, designing these channels should be based upon historical examples and mans natural intuition and not upon formulae which are not only long and complicated but also very time consuming . With respect to such reasons , structural education at the Faculty of Arehitecture should be different from that of other faculties of Engineering and Technology.
