This has always enjoyed a suitable degree of relevance to people’s prevailing thoughts, culture and instincts throughout the history of Iran, particularly in the Islamic era. Evidence suggests that restoration and conservation has always been the mainstream in Iran and not confined to any particular area or environment. Such wisdom can be applied more influentially to architecture and urbanism pedagogy. <br />The methodology presented in this study is the result of a 35-year long inquiry and research in the field of history of architecture and urbanism in Iran. The study has certain hints to the evolution of architecture and urbanism throughout this history, in the hope that it will benefit the future related studies. Objectives here include tracing historical experiences, in order to gain better insights for new developments. <span style="color: black; font-family: 'B Mitra'; font-size: small;">تبادل و تعامل انسان با محیط، با استناد به شواهد باقی</span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">‌</span>مانده از گذشته، همواره دارای یک ویژگی فرهنگی بوده که در طول تاریخ سرزمین ایران، به<span style="font-family: Calibri;">‌</span>ویژه در دورة اسلامی، با نظام فکری، فرهنگی، و فطری ساکنین سنخیّت قابل قبولی داشته است. از شواهد امر چنین استنباط می<span style="font-family: Calibri;">‌</span>شود که مقولة حفاظت و مرمّت در تاریخ گذشتة ایران یک تفکر و گرایش عمومی بوده و منحصر به محیط<span style="font-family: Calibri;">‌</span>ها و حوزه<span style="font-family: Calibri;">‌</span>های خاصی هم نبوده است. این تفکر و تعقل در نظام آموزش معماری و شهرسازی می<span style="font-family: Calibri;">‌</span>تواند جایگاه ویژه و تأثیرگذارتر از آنچه هست داشته باشد.<br /> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">روش تحقیق در این مقاله محصول سی و پنج سال تحقیق و پژوهش نظری و عملی در باب شواهد باقی</span>‌<span style="font-family: Arial;">مانده از گذشته در معماری و شهرسازی کشور است که در این مختصر عرضه می</span>‌<span style="font-family: Arial;">گردد. اشاراتی به سیر تحول این پدیده می</span>‌<span style="font-family: Arial;">تواند رهنمون مناسبی برای یافتن روش</span>‌<span style="font-family: Arial;">های اجرایی برای آینده باشد. تجربة تاریخی قابل پیگیری در نظام توسعه و در راستای نیل به نگرش</span>‌<span style="font-family: Arial;">های مناسب برای آن، در خصوص شواهد و آثار گذشته، یکی از اهدافی است که در این مقاله بررسی می</span>‌<span style="font-family: Arial;">شود.</span> https://soffeh.sbu.ac.ir/article_100564_6b6c46df3e4f1b17ae300c8b49df92cc.pdf
